Request deletion of your data
You can ask us to delete personal information held by Samdesha by emailing [email protected] with the subject Samdesha data deletion request.
- Tell us the business you contacted and the approximate date of your conversation, or identify the email enquiry you want removed.
- Describe what you would like deleted. We will ask for the minimum additional information needed to locate the records and verify that the request relates to you.
- We will review the request manually and respond with the outcome or any further steps needed. There is no automated deletion portal at present.
Do not include passwords, API tokens, or copies of identity documents in your initial request.
Withdraw consent or limit further use
You can use the same contact email to withdraw consent for a specific use of your information. Tell us which service or purpose your request concerns. We will review it manually, coordinate with the relevant business where needed, and explain what processing will stop, whether deletion applies, and any records that must be retained. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the service that depends on that information.
Scope of deletion
Requests can cover contact details, conversation content, and related information held in our software. Where a business controls those records, we may need to coordinate with it. We will explain if any records need to be retained for legal or security reasons or remain in backups until those backups are replaced.
Deleting records from Samdesha does not remove messages from your phone, another participant’s phone, or independently held Meta/WhatsApp or business records. Contact those parties for requests concerning their copies.
