Privacy policy
This notice describes the Samdesha website and our messaging software during development and controlled testing. Samdesha is created by VNC Digital Services Private Limited, India. Venkata Ramesh Babu Dodda is the product contact. Contact: [email protected].
Information we handle
- Website visits: this static website has no account registration, enquiry form, advertising trackers, or application cookies. Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may process technical request information such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver and protect the website.
- Email enquiries: when you email us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message, and any attachments you choose to send.
- Messaging tests and pilots: when a business connects to our software, it can process WhatsApp phone numbers and identifiers, profile names, message content, timestamps, delivery information, and business account identifiers. Operators can record contact context, source notes, communication permissions, opt-outs, and conversation assignments. Operational records include errors and operator actions.
How information is used
We use information to respond to enquiries, operate and test messaging features, route conversations to the appropriate business and operator, send requested replies, track delivery, respect communication preferences, and investigate technical or security problems. The current software does not use an AI service to generate replies.
Our compliance commitment
We understand India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) requirements and are committed to adhering to the requirements applicable to Samdesha. This commitment includes appropriate consent, lawful and clearly explained use of personal information, safeguards for that information, and respect for people’s data protection rights.
Consent and use for a stated purpose
Our commitment is to explain what information is needed and why, and to obtain appropriate consent where processing relies on consent. A service enquiry is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing or other uses. We do not sell personal information or use customer conversations for the operator’s private purposes, unrelated advertising, or unrelated commercial activities.
Information may still need to be stored to provide the requested service and for the operational or legal purposes described in this notice. This is a commitment to limited, explained use, not a promise that no information is stored. For future workflows such as resume collection and remembered conversation context, we will explain the information retained and its intended use before introducing those features.
You can withdraw consent by contacting us or the business handling your request. We will stop the processing that depends on that consent and explain any resulting service limitations or information that must be retained. Requests are handled manually at this development stage.
Who receives information
Conversations are available to the relevant business and its authorized operators. Meta/WhatsApp processes messages through the WhatsApp Business Platform. Cloudflare provides website hosting and network services, and Google/Gmail handles email sent to our contact address. These providers also process information under their own policies. Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law.
If you contact a business using Samdesha, that business determines the purpose of its customer conversation. Its own privacy practices also apply. Contact that business about how it uses your information; we can help identify records processed by our software.
Storage and retention
Messaging records are stored in the application's database, separate from this public website. We retain information for the relevant enquiry, testing or service purpose, and for necessary operational or legal requirements. Retention depends on the type of record and purpose; there is currently no universal automatic deletion period. Access is restricted to authorized operators and maintainers, but no storage or transmission method is risk-free.
Your choices and requests
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information we hold about you, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your connection to the relevant conversation or business before acting. See our data-deletion instructions. You can also ask the business you are messaging to stop further communications.
Please do not send passwords, access tokens, identity documents, or medical records to our general contact email unless a specific, appropriate process has been agreed.

We will update this page as our service and data handling change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
